This page summarizes practical notes for using the website and listed apps provided by Tomoya Hasegawa / JIRMRU’s Imaginary Republic. Please also read each product’s description and FAQ.

System requirements

Check each product page and distribution source for supported operating systems, required devices and permissions. Changes to operating systems, devices or external services may affect how an app works. Complete compatibility with every environment or future OS version is not guaranteed.

Data and safe use

Back up important data and settings before making changes. Try unfamiliar operations with less critical data or in a safe state first.

  • FineFinder: Back up important files. When trying operations such as moving, renaming, compression or extraction for the first time, use copies of your files.
  • X-remo: Check the target device, network, destination URL and settings, and operate devices in a safe state. Importing setup files or migrating may change or replace existing settings. Keep a record of settings you need and follow the migration guide.
  • Calun: Editing or deleting events may also affect the connected calendar. Check the event and calendar before making changes.
  • Walking! Earth Defence Force: Step counts may vary with your device, permissions and when data is retrieved, and updates may take time to appear. Check the product page’s FAQ if steps do not increase or other issues occur.
  • How long in my microwave?: Calculated heating times are estimates. Follow any power and time instructions supplied with the food or appliance, and check the food as it heats.
  • Z-remo: Development has ended, and compatibility with future operating systems or devices is not guaranteed. See the X-remo migration guide when switching to the successor app.

Operation, support and responsibility

We review issues and requests and work on improvements, but do not guarantee that every issue will be resolved, a particular feature will be implemented, or a fix or response will arrive by a particular date. Responsibility relating to use is governed by applicable law. These notes do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

App Store purchases and in-app payments are subject to the applicable store terms and app license. This page does not replace those terms or licenses. Check the product page and store information for purchase details and procedures.

FineFinder is distributed directly from this website, with all features free to use for the time being. Ko-fi support is optional and does not change the features or support you receive. Supporting development is not a purchase that promises a particular feature or priority assistance.
